It's January 1st of 2011, and we had Mr. Paul Tatum, Charles and their 2 beautiful wives, starting the year how it's supposed to!!...fishing on 34ft Wild Lady they manage to raise 6 Sailfish and released them all!! What a day!!

January 2nd: This time I took the day off and went with my brother in law and took him inshore fishing, we started late at 9am and by 10:30 we had 2 bites and lost both, at 11am my Sister in law gets on the chair takes her camera off and says " It's my turn, I will show you how it's done"... not a minute went by and we had another hit...a beautiful 40lbs Roosterfish. Enjoy.

Same day Jan.2nd: 34ft Sea Lady also went inshore for a Half Day, with Dylan and his 5 buddies, that were staying at Cuna del Angel Hotel at Dominical, just 30 minuets south, and they ended up crushing us with 6 Mackerels, 1 Rooster and 1 Snapper and lost like 4 more hookups... that's fishing!!!

We are out tomorrow, both Sea Lady and Wild Lady, I will post fishing report.

January 3rd: 34ft Sea Lady went out with Joe and his group for an Offshore day and raised about 8 Sailfish, but released only 1Sail. Our other boat 34ft Wild Lady went out again with Mr. Paul Tatum, raising 6 Sails, catching and releasing only 1 Sailfish.

January 12th: 34ft Sea Lady went out with James Cummings and anglers Eric and Patrick., They had a great day raising 6 Sailfish, Hooking 3 of them, and finally released 2 Sailfish. Great day on the water.

January 13th: 34ft Sea Lady, with Capt. Eric, starts a 3 day fishing trip with Larry Nostrant from Vic & La's Big Adventure, Party of 5 anglers from Idaho,

had the best day fishing so far, they were 200 degrees west 32 Miles out. Raised 8 Sailsfih, Hooked 4 and released only 2 Sailfish...but tha's not it!!! They Raised 4 Marlin, one of them being a 300lbs Black Marlin, but with a little bad luck were not able to bring it in, but endedup having 2 Striped Marlin caught and released that were around the 150lbs...now isn't this an awesome day you would like to have!!!

January 14th: Patrick, James & Eric, "The Arlington Boys", they all themselves, went out with Capt. Marcos on 34ft Wild Lady, raised 6 Sails, 1 Marlin and released 5 Sailfish!! another great Day!!

34ft Sea Lady with Larry from Vic & La's Big Adventure went out again on 34ft Sea Lady, raising 8 Sails...endedup releasing 1 Dorado for dinner, 1 Sail and a very nice 300lbs Blue Marlin!!!! What a Day.

We continue fishing Saturday, Sunday & Monday, will let you know how fishing treated us!!

January 15th: Mr. Simpson staying at the Si Como No Hotel, went out with his wife on 34ft Sea Lady and after raising 5 fish landed only 1 Sailfish.

34ft Wild Lady wtih William, staying at La Mariposa Hotel, raised 4 fish and came home with 1- 200lbs Blue Marlin!!!

January 16th: Mr. Sissons staying at Si Como No Hotel, caught 1 Sailfish,aboard 34ft Wild Lady.

34ft Sea Lady went with Larry from Vic & La's Big Adventure again, but this time they wanted to try inshore fishing ...and guess what...they had an amazing day on the water releasing a total of 10 Mackerels, 3 Jacks, 2 Roosterfish, been 1 of them about 35lbs...Great!!!

January 17th: 34ft. Sea Lady with Mr. Cartier from Florida came down like every year with us, but after having 4 Sailfish raised, unfortunately came with nothing..it happens it's fishing not catching, they will tr again on the 20th.

My other boat 34ft Wild Lady, with Mr. Barret , even though fishing has been tough was able to come in releasing 1 Sailfish.!!

We keep fishing Jan.20th trhu March, we still have openings so please

January 19th:

Second year in a row that Mr. Bob Reali Group of 11 guys go down to Golfito waters, and I will tell you they had an amazing first day of fishing out of three. Starting with Capt. Bobby McGuinness on 37ft Cazador Raised 2 Marlin and 8 sails, but released only 3 Sails. Then on 31ft Muy Caliente Raised 6 Sails & 1 Huge Tuna, but released only 3 Sails and lost the 200lbs Tuna right at the gaff. Last, 31ft Inccomunicado released 5 Sails out of 8 and had 2 big Dorados.

January 20th: 34ft Sea Lady with Capt. Eric went with Mr. Jack Cartier from Florida and released 2 Sailfish.

January 21st: 34ft Wild Lady with Capt. Marcos went out with a Honeymoon couple Mr. Ray Deal and his wife and had a nice Sailfish and a 300lbs Black Marlin.

34ft Sea Lady went with Dr. Chris Stees and his wife and also 1 Sailfish and 1- 150lbs Stripe Marlin!!!

Looks like things are getting back to normal, we still need those days of 8-10 fish...hopefully soon.!!!

January 22nd: 34ft Sea Lady went out with a very nice couple from Spain, Jordi & Rocio, Raised 3 Sails and 1 Marlin, lost theMarlin and 1 Sail, ending up with 2 Sailfish released.

34ft Wild Lady went out agian with Mr. Richard Ide, party of 4, and released 1 Black Marlin around 250lbs, and lost 1 Dorado.

35ft Fishing Machine with Mr. Tim, released 2 Sails and 1 Black Marlin approx. 300lbs.

Mr. Bob Reali Group of 11 guys, in Golfitofishing with Capt. Bobby McGuinness on 37ft Cazador released 1 70lbs Tuna. Then on 31ft Muy Caliente 1-300lbs Black Marlin. Last, 31ft Inccomunicado released 3 Sailfish.

Tomorrow we have 34ft Wild Lady fishing with Mrs. Nelson, and our 34ft Sea Lady is going down to Dominical to fish 2 days with Mr. Howard, party of 4, hoping for another great day of fishing!!.

January 23rd: 34ft Sea Lady at Dominical with Howard, had 1 nice Black Marlin, 34ft Wild Lady came with 2 Sails and & 1 Black Marlin.

January 24th: Sea Lady with Mr. Porter from the Si Como No Hotel, raised 3 fish , had a Marlin on for a while and finally came in with nothing...hey remember it's fishing not catching!!! They tried their best!!.

34ft Wild Lady with Tim, lost a Marlin and 1 Sail, releasing 1 Sailfish.

January 25th: 34ft Wild Lady with Walrath Familty, caught 2 Sailfish and guess what??... they were both caught by their 89 y.o. father(Mr. Less) is still teaching his sons how it's done!! and 2 Blue Marlin(200-250lbs range), excellent day on the water!!!

34ft Sea Lady in Dominical went inshore catching 4 Jacks and 2 Roosterfish(1 approx. 40lbs), great day.

January 26th: 34ft Wild Lady had a very slow day just bringing in some dinner a nice Dorado.

34ft Sea Lady on a split charter with couple Dana & Sharon, and Brad and his buddy, had a nice catching and releasing 1 Sail and 1 Marlin.

January 27th: Both boats went fishing but not catching...really bad day no fish!!! It Happens.

January 28th: Bob Linder Group comes almost every year, they are from Texas, they start today their first day out of three day fishing adventure...well that's the idea!!

Sea Lady: 1 Blue Marlin 250lbs, 34ft Wild Lady: 1 Sailfish, and Ojaran III: 3 Sailfish....not bad!!!

January 29th: Bob Linder Group on their second day, 34ft Wild Lady: 1 Sail., 34ft Sea Lady went inshore first released 1 Barracuda, and headed offshore to release 3 Sailfish and 1 Dorado., Last Ojaran III: 3 Sails, 2 Dorado & 1 Marlin.

January 30th: Linder Group again... 34ft Sea Lady: 2 Sails, 34ft Wild Lady: 1 Sail and Ojaran III: 4 Sails &n 1 Dorado.

Charles Klinges with friends from Arturos Tours out of PA, went aboard 31ft Big Eye I and had 3 Sails and 1 Dorado.

January 31st:Arturos Tours Group went bottom fishing for some food...34ft Wild Lady 1 Amberjack & 2 small Tunas, and 34ft Sea Lady had 3 Grouper and a giant 600lbs Blue Marlin that was brought in to the leader like 4 times....no good picture but it's still a released fish!!!!

Twardy Group back like every year(for the last 12 years), Ojaran III had 1 Sailfish, 35ft Dream eliever had 2 Sails & 1 Blue Marlin, and 32ft ig Eye II had 3 Sails & 2 Dorados.

February 2011

February 1st: Starts off very slow..I think it's La Nina, we had 6 boats out today and 4 of them came with nothing but a nice boat ride enjoying the beatiful coats and waters of our central pacific. The other 2 boats came with 1 Blue Marlin and 3 Sails on the other.

February 2nd: 34ft Sea Lady went inshore with Mr. Arthur Scena from PA and had 4 Roosters and 1 Jack Cravelle, and Wild Lady with Randy had 2 Sailfish and 2 Dorado.

February 3rd: Sea Lady 2 Sails, Wild Lady & Fenzy II: 1 Sail, Reel Deal, Big Eye I & Dream Believer: 2 Sails, Ojaran III had 3 Sails, MoonWalker had 4 Sails & 1 Dorado, finally Big Eye II: 6 sails...you just have to be at the right spot at the right time.

February 4th: 34ft Sea Lady went inshore with Mr. Randy Wendel from Texas and had 4 Roosters and 1 Jack Cravelle, also Wild Lady with Wendel group had 2 Rooster & 1 Jack. Ojaran III had 1 Sail, Dream Believer had 1 Sail, 1 Dorado 2 small tunas and 1 AmberJack, Moon Walker had 3 Sails and 1 Tuna.

February 5th: Sea Lady 1 Sail and Wild Lady 4 Sailfish.

February 9th: Denis McQuillen and wife Susan on this first day only 1 Sailfish out of 4., aboard 34ft Sea Lady

Wild Lady with Mr. Kasten Group had 4 Sailfish released, also part of this group was Ojaran III, releasing 3 sails & 1 -450lbs Black Marlin...awesome!!!

February 10th: Mr. McQuillen tries it again on 34ft Wild Lady for a better day...end of story 4 Sailfish & 2 Dorado...took it straight to the hotel to get it cooked and gave me some too!!!

Sea Lady with Mr. Kasten had nothing and God Will came with amazing 2 Sails, 2 Dorado & 1 Marlin!!

February 11th: Sea Lady: 2 Sails and Wil Lady: 2 Rooster & 1 Jack.

February 12th: Sea Lady with Mr. McQuillen and his son in law released 2 Sails & 1 Dorado. Wild Lady released 4 Sails.

February 13th: Sea Lady with a walk-in client Mr. Thomas had 8 Mackerel & 1 Jack inshore fishing, Wild Lady also inshore fishing with Mr. Messerly had 2 Roosterfish.

February14th:The Start of a new group Mr. Merlin and company(6 lovely couples) aboard Reel Deal had a tough slow day with only 1 really big Wahoo(50lbs), 34ft Sea Lady with 1 Sail & 1 small tuna...enough to make sashimi at the rstaurant, and finally Wild Lady released 3 Sailfish. So we headed to the Gran Escape Restaurant left the fish a scheduled the dinner at 7:30pm...it was extremely good!!!!

February 15th: Was slow with Sea Lady only catching 1 Sail and Wild Lady nothing.

February 16th: Mr. Merlin Group(6 couples & Bob) again with the same boats: Reel Deal with 3 Sailfish, Sea Lady with 3 Sails & 1 Dorado(another Great dinner with fresh fish at the Gran Escape Rest.), and Wid Lady with 3 Sail fish and a big 350lbs Black Marlin caught by Tonya Wilkey...great job girl !!!!

February 17th: Some old friends came down again Mr. Denis and Eli to fish on the 35ft Fising Machine and released 5 sailfish., 34ft Wild Lady with Mr. Brian Shearer had 4 Sails.!!!

Februay 18th: Mr. Merlin group only on 2 boats, they split up girls only and boys only: Sea Lady party of 5 gorgeous women went inshore fishing to look for rooster but had no luck, instead they released 5 Mackerel & 3 Jacks, the boys on 34ft Wild Lady released 4 Sails & 1 Dorado, which they lost right at the boat, but they still went for dinner to Gran Escape again on the menu!!

Eli & Denis and friends went out again on 35ft Fishing machine having 2 Sailfish released.!!!

February 19th: 34ft Sea Lady with Mr. Gary and party of 6 went inshore and caught 2 roosterfish, 4 mackerel & 1 Jack.

34ft Wild Lady went offshore fishing with Mr. Justin party of 4 anglers releasing...

February 20th: 34ft SeaLady drove down to Dominical to do a day offshore with Mr. Chris Sutherland, and released 3 Sailfish, 2 Amberjacks & 1 Pampano.

34ft Wild Lady with rookie big game fishing Mr. Dale Askew, and released 7 Sailfish out of 12...what a day!!!

February 21st: Best day so far... 34ft Sea Lady started a 4 angler group Mr. Scott Winchester from the nice poeple at Cabela's Outdoors Hunting and Fishing Travel Agency, they released 7 Sailfish out of 11.

34ft Wild Lady couldn't do better..guess what they did, first double digits this year releasing 12 Sailfish in 1 Day...I'm glad the numbers are coming back up, and have happy fishermen every day!!!!

February 22nd: 34ft Sea Lady with Mr. Scott Winchester from Cabela's Outdoors Travel, went inshore fishing getting 3 Roosterfish, 3 Mackerel and 1 Jack Cravelle

February 23rd: Scott Winchester again, but this time they went offshore fishing and released a total of 9 Sailfish!!! and he invited me over to their hotel and have a nice drink by the pool with him and his family ...cheers for great fishing!!

February 25th: 34ft Wild Lady went fishing with some good friends Andy & Glen, but managed to get only 1 Sailfish.

March 2011 Fishing Report

March 1st: Mr. Superson and Sea Lady go inshore to target some roosters...and they did, they got 4 roosterfish(1- about 55lbs), and 2 mackerel.

34ft Wild Lady with newcomer Mr. Roy Potts, all by himself released 4 Sailfish out of 7!!!! Good Job

March 2nd: Mr. Superosn requests Capt Eric from Sea Lady to put him on some fish(last day here)...they've been doing good he wanted some more...so Capt. Eric took him 40 miles out to finally come in with 9 Sails out of around 20 bites...just amazing!!!

34ft Wild Lady stayed closer to shore around 25 miles out and managed to bring 2 Sails and 1 Mahi Mahi, for dinner for Mr. Potts.

March 3rd: Sea Lady takes 6 guys from Costa Verde Hotel, telling me they all would like to catch a fish, lucky for us we made it happen... 6 sails and 6 happy fishermen.

Wild Lady still fishing with Mr. Potts...reminder all by himself, goes offshore for a nice catch of 8 Sailfish out of 12!!! I sat down on the platform at the dock to have chat with him, just to realize how exhausted Mr. Potts was...and he still has one more day to go, but it will be inshore...I will post

March 4th: Like I mentioned before Mr. Potts went inshore fishing and had a less tough day, releasing 2 Roosterfish and 1 Snapper..he's coming back in the future!!

March 7th: 34ft Wild Lady with a friend Mr. George Patterson, first time Sailfishing, Raised 7, hooked 4 and released 2 Sailfish, & 1 Dorado, and lost a Marlin...too bad!!!

March 10th: 5 people fished the Wild Lady from Quepos Saifishing Charters, and released 3 Sails.

March 11th: Sea Lady on their last day with the Curry Family, had only 1 sailfish released., 34ft Wild Lady with 2 guys from Quepos Sailfishing had also 1 Sailfish.

March 12th: 34ft Sea Lady with Mr. Jorge, went out looking for Marlin at the Furuno reef, lots of bait, but all they had was 1 Amberjack & 1 Dorado!!

Wild Lady went fishing with 2 Couples, husbands names are Sam & Alex, they released 1 Dorado & 1 Sailfish!!!.

March 13th: 34ft Wild Lady fishing with some people from my friend Mark from Mar 1 Sport Fishing, Costa Rica, they released 5 Sailfish.

March 14th: 34ft Sea Lady went with newcomers father and son trip Mr. James & Adam Sklarz from Boston, MA, having a nice day with 6 Sailfish & 1 Dorado!!! 2 more days of excellent fishing coming up...

Wild Lady headed south to Dominical to pick up 6 people, and landed 2 Sails.

March 15th: James & Adam on Sea Lady with Capt. Eric, had what is so far our best day sailfishing... hooking up 19 Sailfish and releasing 15 of them... what a day !!

March 16th: James & Adam on their last day offshore fishing released 8 Sails & 3 small tuna(skipjack, 2 yellowfin)...enough to take those filets to Bogart's Restaurant and enjoy an oustanding dinner(sahimi and main plate)!!!, they already said they will make Costa Rica and JP Sport Fishing their annual fishing trip...hope to see these guys again!!!!

April 8th: 34ft Sea Lady with Mr. Roy Lecy and family released 10 sailfish.

April 9th: Lcey Family, released 4 sailfish.

April 13th: Mr. Rene staying at Si Como No Hotel, released 3 Sailfish & 1 Dorado.

April 15th: Sea Lady with Mr. Wilson caught 3 Sails & 1- 300lbs Black Marlin!!!!!

Wild Lady the same day with Mr. Scott caught 3 Sailfish.
